Job Summary
Hampton Roads Foot & Ankle Specialists is seeking a motivated and experienced Podiatrist to join our growing team. With established locations in Williamsburg and Hampton, we are excited to continue expanding our presence in Gloucester and are looking for a physician who is eager to make a lasting impact on the community while helping grow and shape our newest market.

What We're Looking For:
Strong clinical and surgical skills
Experience managing a high-volume patient schedule
Comfort participating in local hospital call coverage
Passion for wound care, limb preservation, and comprehensive podiatric care
Entrepreneurial mindset with a desire to grow and develop a patient base
Commitment to delivering exceptional patient outcomes and community-focused care
Ethical, self-motivated, and efficient work ethic
Responsibilities
Examine patient’s legs and feet to diagnose diseases
Treat bone, muscle, and joint disorders affecting the feet and ankles
Perform wound care
Diagnose diseases and deformities of the foot and ankle using medical histories, physical examinations, x-rays, and laboratory test results
Prescribe medications, corrective devices, physical therapy, or surgery
Advise patients about treatments and foot and ankle care techniques necessary for prevention of future problems
Provide education/consultation to patients
Maintain appropriate medical records on assigned patients
Basic Requirements:
Virginia State License/DEA #
ABPS BC/BE
strong work ethic and self-motivating
DPM with 3 year surgical residency training; wound care interest a plus
inpatient and outpatient work
high earning potential
excellent communication skills: reading, writing, speaking, listening
clean background check
